The “This is My Santam” video, about Santam’s commitment to placing people at the heart of its  transformation journey, opens and closes with shots of the Buhle Farmers’ Academy fields and working farm, with quotes from one of our graduates.

“When you think of a farmer, I”m not what you expect … I’m not just going to be a good farmer, but a great one,” says young female farmer Samkelisiwe Hadebe in the opening scene, filmed in our maize fields. It is a sentiment shared by so many of our ambitious and determined students and alumni.
